Janet Talbot - Practice Manager

I live in Pinckney with my husband and our pets. We currently have one yellow lab named Joey, one shih-tzu named Callie and one cat named Maggie. All of our pets are rescued pets and range in age from the seven-year old yellow lab to the 18-year-old cat, Maggie. We adopt them, love them and wish they would all live forever.

I met Dr. Geake through a mutual friend and came to work for her in 1992 as a veterinary assistant. I did a little bit of everything and gradually began leaning more and more about the management of the practice until that became my sole responsibility. My office is upstairs in the clinic but I’m never far away when needed. I have managed the practice through growth spurts, construction of our new facility, Dr. Geake’s retirement, staff changes and a tough economy. What drives me is my love of this clinic.

Dr. Geake gave this practice a very large heart and although we have our ups and downs, the staff keeps that heartbeat pounding loud and clear. Our staff truly cares about the pets and their people. I am proud of them as I watch them make such a difference in the lives of so many pets. My boss and my co-workers are my friends and they inspire me to take good care of this clinic.
