Meet our Technicians and Assistants:

Jenni Rucinski - LVT

Leslie Jaworowski - LVT

I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 1987. I started at Hidden Spring Veterinary Clinic a short time ago but feel very lucky to be here. I was born and raised in Redford Twp. I have THREE dogs, Jessie (Black Lab Mix), Jake (Black Lab) and Jack (King Charles Cavalier).

I have many interests in the veterinary field but my favorites are dentistry and client education.

My leisure interests include: Camping, Cooking, Scrap booking (obsessively sometimes), Swimming, and anything that gets me outdoors. I also enjoy any kind of computer word-processing including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and many others. In my “spare time”, I volunteer at “my three sons” schools.

I have an Associates degree in Science and an Associates degree in Math. I like to continue my education in the veterinary field by taking online courses and attending continuing education courses.

Trina McGowan - Veterinary Technician

I moved to Michigan in May of 2002 and have been working at Hidden Spring Vet Clinic since June 2002. I decided to get into a medical field after working numerous desk jobs and in retail. I enjoy working with animals and educating clients about animal care issues. I am trying to decide if I want to go on to Vet school. In the meantime, I am having fun and getting tremendous experience working here. I have an Associate degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor degree in Biology.

Growing up in Haverhill, Massachusetts allowed me to be near the ocean. That is one thing I miss about my hometown. The Great Lakes are similar in appearance, but not the same to a beach bum like myself. When I was younger, my best friend and I would explore the fields near my house, collecting and identifying plants, butterflies and other creepy crawlies. Yes I was quite a "tom boy", climbing trees and everything. I have always loved the great outdoors, all flora and fauna.

I am married with 3 "children", Yogi, BooBoo and Lucky. They are my cats. Yogi and BooBoo are littermates and are 6 1/2 years old. Yogi (aka. Yog, Yogi Bear, or The Big Cat), is an orange and white domestic longhair. He is the biggest (18.5 lb.) baby and my favorite. I'm sorry, I hate to admit I have a "favorite" but he is. BooBoo (aka. Boo, BooBoo Kitty, or Medium Cat) is a domestic longhaired calico. She is the independent, touch me and hold me only when I say it is OK cat of the bunch. BooBoo is the most beautiful of my cats. Lucky (aka. Lucky Girl, Yucky, or Little Cat) is the youngest and smallest of the group. She is a 3yr old short-hair Torti. Lucky is a very sweet, laid back cat. If I sneeze near her, she makes a little meow as if saying "bless you". She and Yogi usually fight for position with/on me when I am sitting in my chair watching TV.

Aside from being a technician, another part of my job here at Hidden Spring is overseeing our adoptees. I keep track of cats that need to be adopted, and when we have space at our clinic they come and stay with us until they find a new home. Quite a few times we have had very young litters of kittens that need special attention. In these instances, I bring the kittens home to foster them until they are ready to be adopted. I'd say this is one of the best parts of my job, though Yogi, Boo and Lucky don't seem to find it as fun.

Other hobbies I enjoy are camping, horseback riding, swimming and reading.

Some interesting tidbits about me:
I have moved 9 times (no I am not in the witness protection program).
I have lived in 5 states, one of them being Alaska.
I have been to 39 states, but have not been overseas yet.
I have friends/family in 16 different states.
I have almost every Stephen King book in hardcover.
I love antiques, especially chairs, I don't know why.
I attended the same grammar school my father attended, also the same high school as my mother. <TOP>
